In addition to the convention itself, we hold a number of events throughout the year, ranging from movie screenings to trivia afternoons and games. Some of these have a fundraising purpose, while others are purely social gatherings.
To check out what’s coming up on the Continuum calendar, keep an eye on the posts below, or sign up to our newsletter.
We hope you’re as excited about the craft theme for this year’s con as we are!
And how could we have a crafty con without a traditional Sunday market? The market will also feature craft demonstrations by some fantastic artisans who also happen to be fans.
We’re looking for people to sell their wares, preferably items with geek appeal or a SFF leaning. Stalls are limited and are on a first come first served basis.
Cost:
Members: $30 for a whole table, $15 for half table
Non-members:$50 for a whole table, $25 for half
Table dimensions are 1.8m x 0.8m
Payment may be made by direct deposit before the day or cash on the day.
So if you know someone who makes awesome stuff, or would like a stall yourself, please email programming@continuum.org.au as soon as possible.

It’s our last movie event for the year, so come kick off the silly season with an epic and bloody battle!
From the producers of 300, Immortals is set in the world of Greek gods, Theseus is a mortal man chosen by Zeus to lead the fight against the ruthless King Hyperion, who is on a rampage across Greece to obtain a weapon that can destroy humanity.
The trailer can be seen here:
Looks stunning right?
Unfortunately Melbourne Central has thrown small a spanner in the works (again!) by only screening Immortals in 3D which means we have to bump the price up to $18, plus $1 if you require 3D glasses.
