We hope you’re as excited about the craft theme for this year’s con as we are!
And how could we have a crafty con without a traditional Sunday market? The market will also feature craft demonstrations by some fantastic artisans who also happen to be fans.
We’re looking for people to sell their wares, preferably items with geek appeal or a SFF leaning. Stalls are limited and are on a first come first served basis.
Cost:
Members: $30 for a whole table, $15 for half table
Non-members:$50 for a whole table, $25 for half
Table dimensions are 1.8m x 0.8m
Payment may be made by direct deposit before the day or cash on the day.
So if you know someone who makes awesome stuff, or would like a stall yourself, please email programming@continuum.org.au as soon as possible.

We want to put together a children’s program, but we’re not sure what age groups we should be concentrating on. Can you please email info@continuum.org.au if you’d be interested in children’s programming? And hey – if you’re interested in running any children’s program items, let us know that too! We’ve got ideas and materials but we’re going to need some more volunteers to make it all work.
Also, if you were interested in doing a reading or a rant, we have a number of slots still available. The microphone will be yours for 15 minutes! What do you have to say? email programming@continuum.org.au to arrange your time.

It’s just over a month til the con and the programming team are in over-drive pulling everything together. We know you can’t wait to see the finished schedule but you’ll just have to be a bit more patient.
The list of panels has been updated with new additions, even if you have already taken a look, it’s worth another perusal. Unless we get more participants for some of those panels they may not go ahead, so if there’s one you really want to see make sure you or someone you know volunteers!
The deadline for putting your hand up for panels is FRIDAY 18th MAY.

We know you’ve all been eagerly awaiting the list of panels we’re presenting this year, well the wait is over!
We’re looking for people to provide a myriad of viewpoints on a whole lot of different topics to make our convention interesting, informative and entertaining.
You can find the full list over on the Program page of the website.
We’d also like to hear from people who are interested in doing presentations, academic or fun, especially sciencey ones.
And since our theme this year is craft, if there’s a skill you’d like to teach in a workshop we’d love to hear from you.
Of course if the programme is lacking something you’re passionate about, there’s still time to suggest new items.
To put your hand up for a panellist position, or dob in suggest someone you think would be awesome on a particular panel just email programming@continuum.org.au
