August Newsletter

Hey Continuum people! a couple bits of August-y news for you:

First off, we’re all going to Can’t Stop the Serenity this year. We’re very fond of the New Melbourne Browncoats, and looking forward to another one of their fine events. Come join us on 27th August! To find out more & buy tickets, see the New Melbourne Browncoats here: http://www.newmelbournebrowncoats.com/events/upcoming-events/event/cant-stop-the-serenity-2011/

We want to compile links to all the blog posts people made about Continuum 7. We’re hoping to make it easier to answer the question “what IS a convention, anyway?” Good and bad reviews, please! Posts about mistakes we made will make it less likely we’ll repeat them, and posts about how good it all was will please us immensely! Please email links to info@continuum.org.au, and we’ll put together a massive list.

If you have ideas for programming, drop a line to our head of programming. We’re starting to put a few things together, but we’d love to see your input! Just like every other Continuum, we want to make sure it’s a convention with a balanced program & something for everyone. Email Julia at programming@continuum.org.au with your ideas.

Stand by for more events, too – our regular Halloween trivia night, movie screenings, games sessions, and Armageddon Expo is coming up too. Hope to see you at something soo!. Don’t forget you can keep up with the latest Continuum news on Twitter: @continuum_con and on Facebook:

Have a wonderful month everyone!

FAQ: what do I have to pay?

Basically, once you’ve paid for your membership, nothing at all. There are no additional entry costs or event fees during the convention. If you purchase a full membership, for example, this allows admission to every day and night of the convention and entitles you to attend as many panels, presentations and events as you wish. A day membership entitles you to the same access, but only for the single day and night for which it is purchased.
