The Program Grid for all three days of the convention is now up on the site and ready for you to download.

See the Program & Events page to download.

What will you be doing after the apocalypse?

Will you have succumbed to a raging zombie virus, joined a survival
cult or turned vampire in order to better survive the coming darkness?
Perhaps you are a lone hunter or scientist obsessed with saving the
planet? Or are you one of the aliens (or robots, or Great Old Ones)
who destroyed it?

For this year's Maskobalo there will be dancing like it's the last
party on earth to tunes provided by DJ Omega.

Continuum 6 is proud to announce our second guest of honour: Kim Westwood!

Kim Westwood first realised she might be a bit speculative when her short story ‘The Oracle’ won a 2002 Aurealis Award. Since then there’s been more speculation, much of it with an uneasy eye to the future and an apocalyptic air. Her stories have been chosen for Year’s Best anthologies in Australia and the US, and for ABC radio broadcast, and she is the recipient of a prestigious Varuna Writer’s Fellowship for her first novel, a near-future poetic-apocalyptic tale set in Australia. 'The Daughters of Moab' was subsequently published in 2008 by HarperCollins under the Voyager imprint and was shortlisted for an Aurealis.

Kim is currently working on her second novel — another near-future tale, this time set in inner-city Melbourne — which will be published by HarperCollins in 2010. Meanwhile, she will be returning briefly to the present day to join us for Continuum in February.
